+Iron, the grip as addorsed balusters flanking an acorn with olive form pommel. Cross guard with olive form terminals en suite. 7" triangular section straight tapered blade. A classic example of the stiletto carried by the man in the street. Elegant but undecorated as it was carried concealed. Minor blemishes including some lamination grain to the blade. Universal three piece construction with the blade tang threaded into the grip locking in the guard. Virtually all iron stilettos of the period are made in this way, however, examples which still disassemble as this one does are very rare.
